Rosepark is a non-denominational organisation and entry is gained through the completion of a simple application form followed by a meeting with designated committee members. 6 Who furnishes the rooms? In the main house cats and goldfish are allowed to reside in the basement accommodation only. In the remainder of the house only goldfish are allowed. Yes, residents have to keep their own room tidy and clean in accordance with Rosepark and Health and Safety regulations. Rosepark provides a cleaning service every fortnight which is covered under the rental agreement. Some residents employ domestic help at their own cost, while others get subvention from the local authority. 9 Are Laundry facilities available ? Laundry facilities are available in the Utility room and used on a daily basis by our residents 10 Are there any leisure activities? Rosepark House has an extensive garden area to the rear of the house and residents are encouraged to take up gardening. We also run weekly exercise, painting and computer classes. Rosepark House is based on the principle of home from home. Residents can come and go as they please. All that is requested is that each resident marks themselves in and out on the attendance board located in the hall 14 Is smoking allowed ? Smoking is allowed in the residents’ rooms or bungalows but not in the common areas of the main house. 15 What about a telephone and television? Cable television is available in each room, bungalow and the main dining/sitting room as part of the rental package.
